The Limes Country Lodge is the perfect wedding reception venue  set amidst picturesque countryside.  A beautiful and romantic backdrop for the Most Important Day of your Life – your wedding day. 

We also have a license to hold civil ceremonies on site at The Limes so whether you would like to get married outside in our beautiful Wedding Lodge or inside in our Limes Suite we will ensure it is the most special day of your life.

Whether you are planning an intimate wedding reception with a few friends or need to cater for up to 150 guests, our Function Room can accommodate your needs. We also have an area for a marquee (12m x 9m – price available on request) designed for larger groups.

As part of our gold and platinum wedding packages we offer exclusive use of our facilities, which means that on your special day, all 8 bedrooms and the whole of The Limes’ grounds are reserved for your Wedding party alone.  Arrangements can also be made for exclusive use of the hotel on the day before and following your wedding.

The Limes also has a Caribbean Bar with a thatched roof in the grounds for your exclusive use.  The perfect setting for pre-wedding breakfast drinks and wedding photographs.

Our  Events Co-ordinator will be able to assist and offer advice on preferred wedding suppliers, who we have worked with and meet our own standards of quality.  These include Florists and Photographers should you require these.  We also have our own in-house DJ/Entertainer – subject to availability.  Our aim is to make your wedding day a memorable and unforgettable magical experience.

As a guide we have three Wedding Packages.  However, our Events Co-ordinator will be happy to discuss your individual requirements and, if you are working to a budget in this current difficult financial climate, we will be happy to put together a bespoke package to suit your needs.  We also offer a Premier, Gold and Platinum Plus Package with a wider range of menus.

Limes Premier Wedding Reception Package - £50.00 inc VAT  pp

• Buffet Lunch
• Professional Events Co-ordinator on hand to give advice and assistance with any aspect of your wedding planning – from initial enquiry until your wedding day
• Menus
• Background music for wedding breakfast
• Free car parking for all guests
• Bar extension until midnight, if required, at no extra cost

Limes Gold Wedding Reception Package - £70.00 inc VAT pp
Premier Wedding Package Plus:

• 3 Course Wedding Breakfast
• Drinks Package ‘A’ (Arrival Drink, Toast and 1 glass of wine pp)
• Exclusive use of The Limes and its grounds for the day
• Overnight accommodation in bridal suite for bride and groom

Limes Platinum Wedding Reception Package – £75-£80 inc VAT pp
Limes Premier/Gold Wedding Package Plus

• 4 or 5  Course Wedding Breakfast
• Upgraded Drinks Package.

The Limes can offer a wide range of vegetarian and children’s menus.
