In the months running up to the event, all the consultation & exchange of ideas made for a really good plan which was executed with almost military precision. Nothing was ever too big or too small to be seen to. Late changes were accommodated with commendable ease. And throughout the day David and the entire staff saw to it that all went the way we wanted it to; and with cheerful efficiency too!

Everyone had an excellent time. And all our guests were very, very, complimentary about the Limes, saying that they will cherish the memory of the day. I know that we will too!

"Firstly may I wish you a happy new year!

...and secondly may I thank you for our Christmas day dinner and experience we shared with you.

We had a wonderful time, the food was delicious and your staff were delightfully helpful with all requests thrown at them - including a last minute request for ice cream for the children!

I am also very grateful that you managed to accommodate our seating next to a further group of our family who had separated booked which added to the enjoyment of the day even though your seating plan must of been very complex to arrange everyone comfortably.

I have happy recommended your restaurant to friends and family, more so since Christmas day even though we have previously dined at the limes and we would love to make a provisional reservation for next year already please.

Any further information you could give would be greatly appreciated and we look forward to eating with you again soon!"

"I had chosen the  location almost at random from the internet  -- booking.com, which I have used before -- but also because it was reasonably close to where I was heading the following day and also on price. To find accommodation so attractively fitted out and equipped, so quiet and peaceful and so welcoming were indeed added bonuses.  The young lads on duty at breakfast time were a great advert for the Lodge -- pleasant, attentive and willing to help without being overbearing -- they got it 'just right' -- well done."

"Arrived late and left early so can't comment on food or much customer service as we didn't need it. A clean, large and light room with a huge bed, and a sound quiet night's sleep much needed during a frantic few days travelling the country. Perfectly situated for us near the motorway but in calm countryside. If anything the birdsong was too loud in the morning!"
